Everyone, whether religious or non-religious, is looking for happiness all the time and wants to be free from problems and suffering permanently.Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
The Foundation Program (FP) provides a very special and rare opportunity to study Buddha’s teachings in depth. Class will be every Monday evening 6-8:30 (with tea break)-beginning March 4, 2019. Students are expected to make a sincere effort to attend each class.
Current teachings come from The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
Students pay $75 each month throughout the year. In addition to attending FP classes, this also entitles them to attend GP classes and to receive discounts on some other events.
Pujas, or group chanted prayers, are powerful methods to receive the Buddha’s blessings and protection. Pujas occur regularly on a daily and monthly basis. Students are encouraged to attend these pujas as often as they can, and may be offered important roles in pujas as they learn.
Students are encouraged to arrange meetings with Gen Kelsang Denpa to discuss issues related to their Dharma study and practice.
