Thursday Drop-in Meditation Classes
The Path to Happiness:
Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times
April Meditation Classes:
Thursdays April 3-17, 7-8:15pm
Available by live stream to members
Solving modern-day problems can become easier when we adopt some ancient wisdom advice from Buddha. In this classes, we will explore three classic teachings and meditations that are part of a systematic presentation of the stages of the path to enlightenment, also known as "Lamrim" in Tibetan. We will explore death and impermanence, past and future lives, and karma. These topics are as relevant today as when Buddha taught them over 2,500 years ago. With Resident Teacher and Buddhist nun Gen Chöyang.
.
These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
