Thursday Drop-in Meditation Classes

How to Transform Adversity
September Meditation Classes: Thursdays, 7-8pm
Available by live stream to members

Our difficulties and pain have great significance if we can learn to see them as opportunities for spiritual growth. This wisdom is called “transforming adverse conditions into the path.” Rather than feeling discouraged and depressed by the problems we encounter in our lives and in the world, we discover a capacity to turn that negativity on its head, and use it to our advantage. We use suffering to empower ourselves, and to improve positive states of mind such as love, compassion, and patience. This not only helps us to stay peaceful and calm but it inspires everyone around us. With Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher Gen Chöyang.

.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
